Reviews
Mr Gibbs' friendly and reassuring manner enabled me to ask questions and get a reply that I understood. I would have no hesitation in asking for him to attend to my other knee, should that be necessary in the future.
Dr.Gibbs was extremely helpful he answered all my questions put my mind at ease
It’s quite nerving having surgery and I felt extremly confident and comfortable under he’s care
From day 1 of meeting Dr Gibbs to he’s after care I was definitely in the right hands
My recovery I feel has been exceptional and only after 8 weeks after surgery I feel like a new person I can do things I havnt been able to do for years and it’s still only early days and can only improve more
Many thanks Doctor Gibbs
I was very happy with everything from the initial consultation and the hip replacement surgery and afterwards.
Mr Gibbs explained what would happen, and when. He came to see me twice after the surgery. He has a calm and reassuring manner and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
On my first consultation with Mr Gibbs I had a result of my problems in about 50 mins, I had an x-ray on my hips and knees, and now not such the good news, I had a hip that needed replacing and 2 knees, but was happy it was not a full house! he was friendly and reassuring about what had to be done and gave me full information on the risks involved, and what to expect after the operation, and gave me a positive outlook for the future, as I have been walking over 100 miles a week for a very long-time. I had my first operation for the hip within 3 weeks due to a cancelation, he meet me before the operation and straight after to tell me all went well, and came to see me the day after the operation, I spent 2 nights in then home. The good news is I have had no pain or problems with my replacement hip, it is now just over 3 weeks since leaving hospital and am back up walking and doing a good distance, and can do all things around the house. We have now booked up the the next knee replacement, I left it in his hands to say when I would be ready for the next, so I would highly recommend him, and he will tell you straight how things should go, and he gives you confidence to go through the operation, and will be there if you ever need him, and has a very friendly and caring nature towards you.
Many thanks see you for the next one!
Having been faced with a wide choice of surgeons before my procedure, which with relatively little information upon which to choose was rather daunting, I chose Mr Gibbs based upon past reviews. I am so happy that I did so. Mr Gibbs is extremely professional, explained everything in detail but in a very understandable manner and the surgery and subsequent advice has been exemplary. I would highly recommend Mr Gibbs to any perspective patient.
